Positive: The accommodation had both positive and negative aspects. On the positive side, the bed was very comfortable, we slept really well, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and having a balcony was a nice bonus. However, it would have been much more practical if there had been a drying rack on the balcony, as I had to use a chair to dry my clothes. Negative: Unfortunately, there were several issues that affected our stay. The apartment was on the third floor with no elevator, and carrying a large suitcase upstairs was extremely difficult. The bathroom also needs attention. Water leaked from the shower every time we used it, and I noticed that several previous guests had already mentioned this problem in their reviews, yet it still hasn't been fixed. The shower door was difficult to close, and it didn't provide much privacy because the glass was quite see-through. The location was also not our favorite—we expected something better. In addition, when we entered the Booking address into Bolt, it took us to the wrong location. It took us quite a while to find the correct entrance because the surrounding streets felt like a maze. Overall, the stay was acceptable, but due to these issues, we would probably choose a different accommodation next time.

Disappointing Stay – Terrible First Impression Positive: The only positives were that the location was in a quiet area and it was very easy to get Ubers or Bolts at any time. Negative: I was highly disappointed with this accommodation. For starters, the photos are misleading as the room looks much larger than it actually is. Our main issue began at arrival. We asked the hosts about luggage storage since we were arriving at 11:00 AM, and they told us the room was already ready, which we were thrilled about. However, when we got there, the key lockbox was wide open, the room door was left unlocked, and the space was a total disaster zone. There were empty champagne bottles everywhere, a messy bed, and the toilet was completely blocked with corks and tissues. We were horrified. When we called the host, she seemed completely unbothered. She gave a brief apology over the phone and then sent a text saying she was sending cleaners—and that was it. I had to proactively follow up to ask what we were supposed to do with our luggage and where we could freshen up. We had made the decision to skip freshening up at the airport since we were told the room was ready. Instead, we were left waiting on the third-floor landing in extreme heat radiating from a skylight, getting incredibly hot and sweaty. The host told us to just leave our luggage in the room, which I felt very uncomfortable with given that the property was left entirely unsecured and open when we arrived. Furthermore, the listing claims there is luggage storage, but there is no actual lobby or reception area, so I could not see any safe space to store bags. Accessibility is also poor; there is no lift, and the stairs are a tight, narrow spiral. If you have a big suitcase, you will severely struggle getting up to the room. To top it all off, I was hounded multiple times during my stay with messages demanding different tax payments. One message stated €0.50 per person per night, while another stated €1.50 per person per night. I did not appreciate being asked for extra payments multiple times throughout my stay. This should have been clearly communicated and stipulated at the time of booking.
